Last Christmas time, I made a stylized Xmas Tree on the wall, using silver wire, masking tape and some little decoration. Well, the same week I realized that the illustrator and designer (for home decor), Eline Pellinkhof had designed a similar beautiful tree published into her recent decor book. Taken by the enthusiasm of having made a similar idea, I wrote her to congratulate for her work and tell her everything about my Three :)). Meanwhile, in his personal blog, Eline carried an image of her stylized tree, inviting readers to design a similar one with the same technique, saying that he would share these creations, and raffled a small gift, “a Little Something”.
Eline has entered my work in her list and to my amazement it published along with those of her blog’s readers. She also mentioned among the best and linked my blog, and before my bulging eyes, she honored me with her present. So now I show you the gift, this sweet decorated fabric: a little vintage, a little fairy tale… especially stylish and multi-colored! It brings me back to my childhood.
The same happens with the little fawn found again that among other stuff. It still had inside the ticket a communion of the ’80s. So tender as the warm light of a sunny winter morning.
Eline is a freelance designer, illustrator – mainly fabrics and products for children – and author of two books on decorating. Here her web-site. You will be surprised about her sweetness!
Eline, Thanks again!
